Bishop Eddie F. Hill is the California Jurisdictional Bishop of Evangelist Temple House of Refuge For All Nations Church of God In Christ, headquartered out of Kansas City Missouri. He is also the Pastor of the End Times Ministries, Church of God In Christ in Fresno, California and serves as the general board secretary for Evangelist Temple House of Refuge For All Nations. He was saved at the age of 18, and called to the ministry at the New Sweet Home COGIC under his father in the ministry, the late Superintendent A. C. Macklin; Administrative Assistant of Nor-Cal Metropolitan Jurisdiction, where J. W. Macklin is the presiding prelate. He was ordained an Elder by the late Bishop S. R. Martin, presiding prelate of the California Northwest Jurisdiction COGIC.
After his family moved to East Palo Alto, California, his call to God and the ministry, he worked faithfully with his Pastor for many years performing many duties in the church. In addition, Bishop J.W. Macklin trained him in many leadership and ministry programs. After which, He was again called by God and began his pastorate in 1989 in the California Bay Area. Led of the Lord, he started the End Times Ministries COGIC in 2001, in Fresno, California and realized that there is much work to be done in the vineyard.
Bishop Hill has faithfully served the Lord during his 35-year ministry; and strongly believes in the church's vision statement, which is: "A ministry dedicated to perfecting the church, and impacting the communities around us. To provide an atmosphere where the Word of God goes forth uninhibited, and the Holy Ghost can move abundantly in deliverance, salvation, healing, miracles and empowerment. To see the sick healed, the bound delivered, and the captive free. Through teaching and preaching ministries, we are able to build men, women and families in the ways of God, and the understanding of the work of Jesus Christ in their lives. Through fasting and praying disciplines, develop a people that love the Word of God and enjoy His presence."
Moving forward, Bishop Hill weekly speaks vision and mission to the members of this congregation. As he often reminding us, that we are to be a church building up God's Kingdom, by building God's people, with the unadulterated Word of God. He desires to see people saved and delivered from their present condition(s), realizing that the condition is not an indication of the potential for greatness that God has ordained for every believer in Christ.
Bishop Hill was born in San Francisco to parents that were both in the Armed Forces, and the fourth of nine children. He is married to Queenie M. Hill , who works alongside with him in the ministry. They are gratefully blessed with three wonderful sons; Eddie, Johnathan, and Sterling. Bishop Hill is motivated, determined and encouraged to do the will of the Lord in his life. His favorite bible scripture backs up his thrive and determination: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13)
